D. Colton Boyles earned a JD from the University of Idaho College of Law and is licensed to practice law in Washington and Idaho. He has extensive experience in finance-related fields including risk management and insurance. He has represented a range of elected officials and state and local governments. He has advised hospitals, doctors and nurses including private equity investor hospital acquisition. In 2020, he successfully sued the Idaho Governor and Director of Health and Welfare to block criminal penalties for attending church. He also practices in the areas of corporate governance and commercial litigation and represents journalists, whistleblowers, and charitable organizations.
